Business Development Manager (Co-packing)
In this newly created role, our prestigious client is looking for a highly motivated and driven B2B Business Development Manager to join their business. Responsible for identifying, targeting, and building strong relationships with businesses in need of co-packing services, you'll play a pivotal role in driving winning new business and contributing to sales growth.
This role requires a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales within the food or FMCG sector, preferably with experience in selling co-packing services.
Key Responsibilities:
*Identify and target new business opportunities within the food sector, including start-ups, established brands, and retailers seeking co-packing services.
*Research and analyse market trends to build a strong pipeline of leads.
*Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
*Conduct meetings, pitches, and site visits to showcase and build trust with potential clients.
*Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
*Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and project management handovers.
*Create tailored proposals, cost estimates, and contracts in collaboration with the operations and finance teams.
*Negotiate terms and close deals that align with company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
*Proven track record in B2B sales within the food manufacturing, FMCG, or co-packing sector.
*Strong understanding of the UK food market and supply chain dynamics.
*Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*Ability to build rapport and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
*Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales.
*Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
*Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Full UK driving license and willingness to regularly travel across the UK
