We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Resource Manager to join our dynamic TRU West Rail Systems team at Manchester.
In this role, you will lead the Resource Management Team by managing the team, supporting the project reporting regime, and assisting in future development and innovation of the Resource Management function. You will collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure the provision of the correct, competent, and reliable resources to the Rail System discipline teams, enabling safe delivery of work activities.
This role offers you the unique opportunity to join a project that is transforming the rail network between Manchester and Leeds, providing the communities with a faster and more reliable transport network.
What You’ll Do:
* Manage a team of resource coordinators and administrators to support the delivery of approved resources to the Rail Systems delivery teams.
* Provide real-time reporting and updates to the project management team and commercial teams.
* Support the development of new systems and reporting initiatives both internally to the project and externally to the wider Amey Rail business.
* Engage with the supply chain and other stakeholders to drive efficiency and consistency of supply.
* This role is significant in the progression of the TRU West project into full delivery status.
