Second Line Support Engineer - Newcastle - £28-30K
We are seeking a Second line support engineer for an established client in the Technology sector to join their internal IT department on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be providing high quality business solutions tailored to individual customer requirements and also provide exceptional technical support to our expanding customer base in line with an exciting new business venture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and resolve complex issues across various technologies, including Microsoft services and VoIP systems, up to a second-line support level.
* ITIL awareness
* Deliver onsite technical support, ensuring timely resolution of issues while maintaining clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Assist in various project work, including server and network installations, configurations, and deployments.
* Azure
* Active Directory
* Windows Server 2016-2022
* SQL Server Administration
* Microsoft Office 365
* General networking knowledge
* Understanding of VoIP, SIP trunks, and digital telephony
* In-depth experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 Operating Systems.
* Knowledge of firewalls
* Fault finding and troubleshooting skills
* Full Clean UK Drivers License
