Role Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civils Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based at our Tunbridge Wells office, overseeing projects across the Kent and Sussex regions. As a key leader within the business, the Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality, managing budgets efficiently, and driving adherence to project timelines. Key responsibilities include: Supervising all stages of construction projects to ensure efficient execution. Managing project budgets and resources effectively. Enforcing rigorous health and safety standards across all sites. Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. Monitoring and controlling project timelines to meet client expectations. Qualifications We’re looking for candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will possess: Proven supervisory experience with strong project control capabilities. Expertise in budgeting, resource allocation, and construction safety practices. Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from inception to completion. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively. Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards. SMSTS certificate or equivalent site management safety accreditation. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential with equivalent experience).
