About the role
We are looking to recruit a Senior Land Manager to join our Scotland West team based in our Glasgow office at an exciting time. Backed by private equity, Miller Homes are delivering a rapid growth strategy across the UK. We are therefore looking for someone with ambition and a proven track record and with strong commercial acumen and ambition. This role will be responsible for managing both internal and external resources and a portfolio of sites, reporting directly to the Regional Land Director.

We currently deliver in the region of 4,000 homes per annum, with ambitious growth plans to deliver 6,000 homes per annum in the medium term. Our skilled land teams have an extensive understanding of the planning system, excellent local knowledge and an enviable track record of delivering commercially viable planning consents. * Ensure the effective use of resources by programming and prioritising work in order to ensure timely land delivery and minimises delays due to their understanding of the risks involved in each of the projects.
Requirements:
* Experience of land acquisition, preferably gained in a private house building environment
* Knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to the land acquisition process
* An established contact base within the prescribed region / area
* Relevant degree/professional qualifications, or similar by experience
