Job Purpose: Deliver business results by managing current partnerships (as allocated by Head of Partner Management) as if they were affiliates. Drive excellence in cross-functional connections within KKI in order to manage all relevant operational activities needed to ensure existing relationships are appropriately managed and maintained. To meet regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as all commercial obligations by managing Partners and tracking KPIs to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Leadership of Partners and projects as allocated Deliver budget: Manage and oversee all allocated partners to deliver yearly budget Governance: Ensure focus is on managing the partner as if they were an affiliate and you were a GM Commercial Obligations: Manage all commercial and contractual obligations and track KPIs as agreed with Head of Partner Management Market access & Pricing: lead all local pricing discussions (including discounts, tenders etc) with partner Forecast: Support S&OP in gaining short-term (18mth) forecast from Partner AND understanding future potential of relationship, highlighting any significant future risks Maintain strong relationships with all other internal functions related to each Partner Relationships: Lead Distributor Partner relationships and ensure clear and consistent communication and information exchange, escalating issues as appropriate Support the GxP management of Partners and relevant compliance obligations with critical functions: Supply chain, QA, PV, Healthcare Compliance Communication & Risk Management: Ensuring no surprises by timely communication to Head of Partner Management Coaching: take responsibility for effective coaching of less senior members of the team, as appropriate Position Requirements: Qualified to degree level – Life Science degree or equivalent preferred Broad experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry, of which several years should have been in management positions Demonstrable experience in establishing new business relationships Partner / overseas customer management experience Experience of sales development activity with customers in geographies in/outside of EU Demonstrable experience of co-ordinating and managing relationships (internal and external) Experience of managing and manipulating data through databases / spreadsheets etc. Understanding of contracts and tendering in the pharmaceutical environment Kyowa Kirin International is an equal opportunities employer.
