PE Teacher (QTS) Recruiting for a Secondary Girls School 21st April start Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive girls school in Enfield, starting from the Easter break. The successful candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a passion for teaching, a commitment to fostering empowerment, and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment that supports all students. Contract or position start date - 21st April 2025 Minimum rate of pay - match to payscale 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri (term time only) Key Responsibilities: Deliver dynamic PE lessons that promote physical fitness and well-being. Develop and assess student progress in physical education. Inspire teamwork, leadership, and confidence through sports and physical activities. Encourage participation in extracurricular activities and competitions. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students during all physical education activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance and integrate PE within the broader school curriculum. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of PE curricula and teaching strategies. Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities in physical education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to the well-being and holistic development of students. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Teaching qualification: PGCE, Diploma in teaching, Bachelor of Education, QTS. Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
