Job Title: Locum Biomedical Scientist - Bradford Banding : 6 Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months Location : Bradford Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 Rate : £ 22 - £ 31 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Biomedical Scientist to join our team in Bradford. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our Histopathology department, and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and passion to our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks that support our mission and values. What will your responsibilities be: In this role, you will be responsible for working in the dissection area of Histopathology. You will handle the receipt and booking in of samples, perform simple transfers of biopsies, and accurately take dictation while supporting Pathologists and BMS staff during dissection. Your duties will include ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of samples and maintaining high standards of laboratory practice. Qualifications and Experiences : Previous experience working in the dissection area of Histopathology Familiarity with the receipt and booking in of samples Ability to perform simple transfer of biopsies Proficiency in accurately taking dictation Strong support skills for Pathologists and BMS staff during dissection Excellent communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and high standards of laboratory practice Why work with Pulse?
