Personal Assistant – Barclays

Overall Purpose of the Role:
Barclays is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership within a newly structured team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple high-level executives as they transition into their roles. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide PA support to senior executives, including Managing Directors and Directors.
* Manage complex diaries and scheduling across multiple time zones.
* Coordinate UK and occasional international travel, including accommodation and logistics.
* Process expenses using internal systems (e.g., Travelex).
* Organize off-site events, including venue booking, catering, and speaker coordination.
* Manage stakeholder interactions, including coordination with Tesco Bank following Barclays’ acquisition.
* Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Collaborate effectively with wider teams to support seamless operations.
Key Skills:
* Strong PA/Executive Assistant experience, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
* Proficiency in diary management, travel coordination, and expense systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Experience handling off-site event planning and logistics.
* A proactive, team-player mindset with a keen eye for detail.
