What the Job Involves As the Operational Lead for the SEND Health Assessment Pilot Project, you will work closely with key stakeholders, including the SENAT Principal Service Lead and Head of SEND and Inclusion, to enhance service efficiency within the Delivering Better Value Program. Your role focuses on evaluating and optimising health contributions to EHCPs by collaborating with health services and promoting best practices. Responsibilities involve reviewing and negotiating contributions to inform EHCPs, advising on complex issues, and engaging strategically with partners to ensure statutory compliance. You will support and oversee strategies to streamline processes, monitor data, and increase health resource allocation. Additionally, you will provide leadership in formulating new policies and maintaining effective partnerships, ultimately improving educational outcomes for children and young people with special needs.
