Do you love connecting and helping people? Always looking at YouTube and TikTok videos? Won Connect is looking for a YouTube content creator volunteer to help create their videos!
As a YouTube Content Creator with us, you'll work with the director and head of the digital marketing team to create engaging content for Won Connect’s users. You'll write and create engaging videos to share on our YouTube channel and our website and social media pages. This could include vlogs, short videos, interviews and other content pieces which drive traffic to our website and raise awareness of Won Connect and the people we are trying to help.
Won Connect is a social enterprise with a mission to overcome social isolation for older adults. We deliver a variety of programmes to empower older and socially isolated people in Greater Glasgow with companionship and information in using technology independently, confidently and safely, and reducing loneliness - allowing them to live independently, be more employable and connect with others.
We will ask for a minimum 5 hour per week commitment, with 1 of those hours being attendance to a team meeting. The team meeting is held on via Google Meet unless otherwise stated. Outside of the team meeting, you can participate in the role at any time that suits you - it's really flexible!
Duties will include:
1. Managing our YouTube channel
2. Creating educational, fun and informative videos about Won Connect and relevant learning content
3. Using Doodly and other tools to create content, editing the videos and making sure they are fit for purpose
4. Liaising with the digital marketing team for scheduling video releases and making sure the content matches what we need it to do such as ‘How to….’

Skills You'll Need:
* Experience using YouTube, video editing, Doodly and other image sources such as Canva.
* Creativity - being able to turn a small, bland piece of information into an engaging and helpful video.
* Good team working and communication skills.
You must be over 16 years old. Applicants will be shortlisted. Accessible Expenses Paid.
This is a flexible opportunity and you will be required to agree when you can attend directly with the provider of the opportunity.
