This is an exciting opportunity to develop and support systems for managing patient-based information and appointment booking in the Community Podiatry Service.
The main aims are to develop and implement communications with patients, manage patient referrals, and appointments on a new pathway.
The administrative team is based at Ilkeston Community Hospital.
We are a large and dynamic Podiatry service of more than 100 staff working across all service areas in Derbyshire.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of the SystmOne clinical record system, booking appointments, communicating directly with service users, and is keen to develop the current system.
You will be someone who has drive, new ideas, and is keen to improve and develop current systems to ensure better patient care and to free Podiatrists' capacity to enable focus on clinical work.
You will have a commitment to providing a high standard of patient-focused care and be a strong team player.
You will be interested in Podiatry and have a compassionate, positive understanding towards neurodiversity.
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes, and increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.
