Position: Maintenance Fitter
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Hams Hall team in the position of Maintenance Fitter.
Your Duties Include:
1. Maintain the site mechanical plant and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe working of the plant.
2. Carry out preventative maintenance and installation of new equipment as required.
3. Attend breakdowns and assist the Electrician with his shift duties.
4. Respond to and act upon the fault report system.
5. Work closely with shift colleagues, charge hands, operators, maintenance charge hand, shift managers, production manager, and works manager to ensure the site's targets and objectives are achieved.
About You:
1. Experience of industrial installations and control systems.
2. The ability to fault find and test automated machinery.
3. Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
4. Welding and Cutting experience would be advantageous.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. A good understanding of health and safety is essential.
Qualifications/Education:
1. A recognised mechanical trade qualification.
