We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Digital+ team. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimise reporting systems and dashboards. Ensuring data accuracy and accessibility, understand the stories behind our data to optimise ad spend and digital marketing processes, identify growth opportunities, and enhance our overall operational efficiency.

Working pattern: 35 hours per week, 9:00am-5pm (hybrid options available)
The role
The key responsibilities you could be looking after include:
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
* Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
* Provide actionable recommendations to improve business processes and outcomes.
* Analyse performance metrics across a range of products to support customer acquisition and engagement.
* Identify opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance overall efficiency and data quality.
Data Modelling:
* Work with stakeholders to research the market, interpret data and assist in the development of business cases that will deliver change.
* Assist in the development and interpretation of data models to optimise spend and deliver improved performance.
Reporting & Visualisation:
* Ensure reports are tailored to meet the specific needs of various departments.
* Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Industry /Competitor Research:
* Conduct research to understand the competitive landscape in terms of product and pricing to inform and enable our digital strategy and growth aspirations.
* Be aware of the overall company data strategy and contribute to the delivery of the strategy.
* Take an active role in the realisation of the direct-to-consumer (B2C) strategy.
* Proactively participate in all stages of continuous improvement initiatives as well as new business requirements and projects.

Essential Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Business Intelligence / Data Analyst
* Demonstrated knowledge of applied statistical methods using R, Python (or similar).
* Degree, or equivalent in experience, in Business or Data Analytics or Technology, Computer Science, Math, Statistics.
* Strong Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and SQL.
* Experience of supporting and utilising IT Applications and/or Platforms, as well as Data Warehouses and / or Data Lakes.
Preferred:
* Experience working within the Insurance industry.
