Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, with a focus on creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
Duties
1. Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
2. Filming / Taking photos in-house, editing, creating content.
3. Able to Live on social media platforms, to sell and engage products.
4. Create engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
5. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to comments and messages.
6. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and public relations to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
9. Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to maximise reach and engagement.
10. Prepare regular reports on social media performance for stakeholders.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
6. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
7. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field is preferred but not essential.
9. Must be confident, sociable and willing to engage with confidence.
