We are looking for a Senior BIM Technician to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programs in the UK.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for:
1. Producing and delivering high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings in accordance with COWI’s standards and any project-specific standards agreed with our clients.
2. Developing detailed Revit models for structures and tunnels, knowledge of Asset Tagging required, as well as the development of families.
3. Supporting the coordination of multidisciplinary teams by ensuring models are fully integrated.
4. Assisting discipline leads by providing technical support and Revit expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Knowledge and use of Dynamo to enhance workflows and improve project efficiency.
6. Assisting and advising on and ensuring projects are set-up effectively with respect to software, tools, and processes.
7. Taking an engaged approach in training and developing colleagues across the business and junior members of the Digital Delivery Discipline Team, ensuring their advancement and skill-building on various projects as well as providing key specialist support to the Discipline Management Team in the development of internal Revit Processes.
8. Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards checking and a business-mindset towards quality, supporting COWI in maintaining an industry-leading reputation for high-quality engineering and design.

To do well in this position, we believe that you'll be eager to collaborate with others while keeping our clients engaged. You'll also pursue new insights and constantly explore new ways to improve, while respecting our clients, your colleagues, the local community, and the planet we live on.
Furthermore, you'll have:
1. 8-10 years of experience working with Revit on infrastructure projects, ideally in structures and tunnels.
2. An HNC or higher education in Civil Engineering or a related field and Professionally Qualified to EngTech (MICE or TMIET).
3. Comprehensive understanding of Revit and its application in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
4. Knowledge of Dynamo scripting for enhanced model automation and efficiencies (preferred).
5. Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and integrating designs.
6. Enhanced communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, discipline leads, and project managers.
7. Experience of working with the UK BIM Framework (delivering Projects using the framework provided by ISO19650) and working in BIM Project Delivery Roles.
