We are recruiting for an Associate to join our Employment team in Bristol. This is a full-time, flexile working opportunity and would best suit a qualified lawyer with 1-3 years' PQE. Your Role As a key addition to our growing team, you will have your own high quality and varied caseload, working closely with the Partners and other team members on the following: Employment tribunal claims (almost exclusively acting for Respondents) Helping employers manage issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies Supporting clients with outsourcing contracts, contract drafting and client training Enforcement of post-termination restrictive covenants Drafting consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment related documentation Your Skills & Experience We are looking for: A qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with at least 1 year PQE in employment law A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines Commercial awareness with enthusiasm for business development, and an appetite for keeping up to date with the latest developments in your practice area and sector focus An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture Your Team TLT’s Employment team is recognised as a ‘National Leader’ (Band 1) by the leading directory of law firms, Chambers and Partners 2024 Our team of more than 30 specialists advises clients across the three UK legal jurisdictions of England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland on all aspects of employment law.
