We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Manager Consultant to join our team at Swegon Ltd. This pivotal role is all about driving profitable sales across the UK & Ireland, ensuring targets and budgets are met, and executing our ambitious sales strategy.
You’ll be at the forefront of engaging consultants early on, promoting the Swegon range of AHU products to get them specified for key projects. You’ll also lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team, supporting them in building a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into successful outcomes.
Position Summary
This Sales Manager for ACH is responsible for increasing profitable sales across the country ensuring targets and budgets are achieved. You will be responsible for the execution of our sales strategy, focused on early engagement with consultants, providing sales leadership, support, and development of the Consultants sales team to grow the pipeline and translate these into opportunities.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Sales at Swegon Ltd (ACH) and you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a sales team across Swegon UK&I.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Financial Accountability: Responsible for developing and growing Swegon range of AHU products, and BlueBox chillers and heat pumps to meet agreed targets (order intake to sales conversion), providing accurate forecasting to the Head of Sales.
* Planning and Execution: Set and deploy clear order intake/sales/margin targets to the team in collaboration with Management.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team consisting of Area Sales Managers within the UK. Manage the recruitment, supervision, coaching/professional development, and discipline of all direct reports.
* Performance Monitoring: Analyze order intake/sales data, monitor team performance, and take corrective actions to ensure financial performance meets budget commitments. Provide regular progress updates and forecasts on a monthly basis.
* Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key Consultants partners, act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts. Deliver CPDs to consultants and contractors and develop the team to carry out their own CPD presentations as required.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure transparent lines of communication are maintained between Sales and other functions and BUs (including Service), sharing ideas and initiatives. Ensure we promote Swegon UK&I, offering any support and potential leads across the Group Companies (including Dalair) for business opportunities and development.
* Training & Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
* Contract Negotiation: Support the negotiations for high-value contracts and agreements with strategic accounts, in conjunction with the Commercial Contracts Manager. Ensure favorable terms and conditions that align with Swegon’s policies and objectives.
* Tools & Systems: Manage the CRM system and ensure that ASMs adhere to the set procedural guidelines and update the CRM on a regular basis.

* Your ability to present confidently across all business levels and understand basic financial principles ensures you make a meaningful impact.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales leadership in HVAC industry with strong knowledge of HVAC sector building regulations and legislation.
* Leadership and Management of a sales team.
* Commercial acumen and good understanding of company finances.
* Clear commercial planning linked to product management and sales execution strategies.
* GCSE English, Maths, and Science or equivalent (Level 9-5).
* ERP – management and use at a sales management level/understanding processes and procedures across the customer services and Sales team.
* Full Driving Licence.
Desirable
* Finance for Non-Financial Leaders.
* Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or business discipline.
* A-Level or ONC/HNC in an engineering, technical or business discipline.
