Provide support to team members of the Supply and Production Planning Department with clerical tasks that support work order processing, inventory control, and raw material inward movement.
The main focus of this is to provide support to team members of the Supply and Production Planning Department with clerical tasks that support work order processing, inventory control, and raw material inward movement.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assume responsibility for raising, processing and receipt of Purchase orders within the department
2. Generating and amending works orders
3. Checking Order Confirmations are correct and any discrepancies to be fixed/sorted out
4. Sending all Price Increases to Procurement department
5. Requesting CoA’s and CoO’s from suppliers
6. Raising Illumina PO’s
7. Chip Prices for Illumina
8. Data Entry of all incoming products or services relating to above purchase orders
9. Managing Group purchasing inboxes
10. Liaise with Logistics, Internal departments and planners concerning any queries on receipts of purchase orders
11. Tie up monthly statement for Credit Card Purchases
12. Chase up Internal Requisition system
13. Manage the process if New Supplier Forms information being collated from suppliers and internal departments
14. Logging observations and non Conformances in Q Pulse
15. Requesting Insurance and risk assessment documents and questionnaires from engineers/ visitors
16. Update data in Various reports and Systems as and when required
17. Check Open order report from Lansing
18. Updating sheets for shipping costs
19. Arranging Raw Material samples from suppliers for validation purposes
20. Arranging the collection of the waste store
21. Invoices Queries for all sites
22. Update planning sheets as instructed by planner
23. Perform as hoc duties as required
Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:
24. Previous experience in an office business environment.
25. Knowledge of MRP system, inventory control, and experience with excel and customer service is a plus.
26. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
27. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
28. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
29. Knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
