About the Role:
Ongoing growth in the business has increased demands on the Pricing function and subsequently on the underlying technology. We are seeking a motivated Pricing Analyst who can adapt to the many demands of insurance pricing and provide the bridge between the business and developers. The successful candidate will play a key role in upgrading the current pricing models to a tactical implementation and subsequently to the strategic pricing platform. This role would suit a part qualified actuary with keen interest in analysis and development.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months..
Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Assist with transformation and updates of the current models to the tactical and subsequently the strategic pricing platform.
Analysis & design of workflows across the underwriting process.
Defining the data model for each pricing model.
Development of MI dashboards.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Math's, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business or a similar field.
Part qualified in actuarial studies preferred.
Excellent IT skills and experience of working on pricing platforms advantageous.
High level understanding of insurance pricing and the ability to probe deeper when required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build quality relationships across the organisation at all levels.
Premium communication skills both written and verbal, ability to adjust style to suit the audience varying by role (technical / business) and seniority.
Clarity of thought, process, and logical approach. Structured and organised.
Appreciation of the big picture whilst maintaining attention to detail, comprehensive and thorough.
Comfortable handling multiple workstreams.
