A vacancy has arisen for the position of Operations Manager within our Well Services department in Aberdeen. The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed below: Manage both the onshore and offshore operational departments Market our services and products Tender preparation Optimise the equipment stock and utilisation Follow-up relevant agreements/contracts with customers and suppliers Report cost, progress and deviation in projects and daily operations Maintain and develop good relations and good service towards our customers and suppliers Support operational delivery team on a daily basis The successful candidate must have the following: The right to work in the UK Relevant formal background, MSc level, alternatively long relevant experience Minimum 8 years’ experience from rig/service operations, TRS, loose drilling equipment etc. Good knowledge of drilling related equipment Previous experience in a leadership position Be organised and systematic Have good written and oral English skills Why you should join our team The Odfjell group recognises that the shift to renewable energy requires a new way of thinking.
