About The Role At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. We're currently looking for a Change Manager to join our Commercial team on the Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) section based in Brackley. In this role, you will need to carry out tasks independently, at times this will involve leading a small group of commercial staff and also carrying out both periodical duties and one-off tasks in accordance with deadlines as directed by the senior Commercial team. You will maintain registers to aid the commercial management of change and chair meetings where applicable. You will liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders and establishing productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. You will also ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained and in line with with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues. Another key part of this role is to provide input into change control procedures for EOT, delays and performance adjustment and prepare and agree on compensation events and quotations. In addition you will negotiate and progress the resolution of any disputes and identify potential commercial risks and evaluate options for their control and management. About The Candidate Quantity Surveying degree or similar. Enrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS or similar). Successful experience at Quantity Surveyor level, displaying skill in delivering a positive commercial outcome for the project(s) with which you have been associated. Experience of NEC contracts The ability to listen, learn and take on board new concepts and carry out actions, whilst mentoring junior team members.
