We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Night Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C prison located in Wolverhampton.
HMP Oakwood is one of the largest prisons in the UK, housing over 1,500 men.

Hours:
This is a part-time role with fixed days and hours:
* 23.5 hours per week
* Thursday night 11.5 hrs - 7.45 pm - 7.15 am
* Friday night 12 hrs - 7.45 pm - 7.45 am
This position is part-time, with an annual salary of £41,673 FTE, equating to approximately £26,116 per annum pro-rata.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
* Deliver nurse-led services within a multi-disciplinary team to prevent hospital admissions.
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, respond to emergencies, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
* Use your skills to deliver nurse-led clinics supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
* Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision by providing outstanding, evidence-based, personalized care, seeking and acting on patient feedback.
* Deliver non-judgmental care that makes a real difference, aligned with our Health in Justice competency framework.

* Registered nurse – Adult - NMC
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development

Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
