Job Description
The Role
Primary focus on the technical aspects of project execution, troubleshooting technical issues, managing project documentation, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Manages planning, compliance with engineering standards, drives the project schedule, and coordinates with internal disciplines. Conducts feasibility studies, keeps the project on track from a commercial and high-level perspective, identifies and mitigates risks, reports variations, and oversees installation contractors, testing, and customer acceptance.
Experience
Mechanical project management experience in the power industry, specifically on long-term contract equipment supply projects. Strong mechanical knowledge of turnkey project management processes for new, established, and retrofit plants in coal, waste power, biomass, and mining sectors. Experience with mechanical assemblies for turnkey design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning on grinding plants, pulverisers, and dynamic classifiers, as well as retrofit projects ranging from £2m to £20m.
