A well-regarded law firm with offices across the South is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate with 3-6 years of PQE to join its growing Corporate team in Reading. The Role
The position offers a broad variety of work, supporting an international portfolio of clients, including multinational corporations, SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and start-ups. From the outset, the successful candidate will work on technically challenging transactions and benefit from comprehensive support to advance their career.
Typical Workload
The role involves a range of corporate matters, including:
1. Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
2. Private equity and venture capital transactions
3. Capital markets listings and IPOs
4. Public company takeovers
5. Joint ventures (JVs)
6. Group restructurings
7. Corporate advisory work
Skills and Experience Required
Candidates should have:
1. 3-6 years of PQE with relevant corporate law experience gained at a recognised regional or London commercial firm.
2. Strong technical expertise in corporate law and the ability to manage complex transactions.
3. A commercial outlook and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
4. A proven track record or strong interest in business development and client relationship management.
