Location: Ednaston, Derby (5 days on site initially, Hybrid working available upon successful probation period)
Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Our role is full-time, working 37.5 hours a week Monday – Friday. We can be flexible with start and finish times, and these can be 8.00am – 4.00pm, 8.30am – 4.30pm or 9.00am – 5.00pm.

Our Derby regional office has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join their positive, caring, and ambitious Account Management team. This role will include serving as the primary point of contact for a variety of large longstanding key client portfolios, with an expected annual turnover value of circa £1m+. The candidate will have support from a dedicated Contract Administrator with whom they will work closely on their key contracts. Working within a friendly account management team, the role is key to ensuring high customer service and compliance for our clients. The role requires flexibility, and travel to see clients and undertake site visits will be necessary.
Your role:
* Ensuring all contracts comply and run in accordance with all current health and safety law, statutory legislation, regulations, and guidance documents
* Ensuring that clients are aware of any non-conformities across their portfolio, and assisting them with the management of these using our in-house compliance software, Opuz
* Managing client budgets and profitability, developing full sales potential and ensuring payment terms are met
* Building and maintaining authentic relationships with clients through demonstrating transparency, being approachable, and advocating for their needs
* Ensuring that contractual obligations are met in all aspects of contract delivery and dealing with contract renewals
* Offering bespoke advice and guidance to clients as required, and tailoring schedule of works to fit in with client needs where possible
* Raising quotations from direct customer queries as well as from non-conformities raised by our onsite team using the Opuz System
* Attending and presenting at client meetings, both face-to-face and online
* Providing Legionella Awareness Training both in person and online when required
Your experience:
Essential:
* IT Literate with good experience of all Microsoft packages; use of other IT packages is advantageous
* Expert in communication & interpersonal skills
* Expert in ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Expert in building and maintaining customer relationships
* Expert in problem-solving with a keen eye for detail
* Expert in being organized and managing a flexible workload
* Full UK Driving licence
* Ability to pass Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (DBS check)
Desirable:
* Technical knowledge of the Water Hygiene Industry (or something similar within the Health and Safety industry)
* Health & Safety knowledge/qualifications i.e., NEBOSH or equivalent
Please note: A 12-month on-site secondment with our Legionella Risk Assessment department may be required depending on experience and time spent in the industry.
