Multi-Skilled Service Engineer - Electrical Bias
Location: West Quay, Southampton (Site Based)
Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm
Integral are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for Maintenance & reactive duties at West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules.
* Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
* Use & complete CAFM system.
* Be part of the current shift team (Early, late & weekend)
* Produce technical and situational reports as required.
* Carry out additional duties on site as requested.
* Proactively use technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and clients.
* Provide first line out of hours call out for the site.
* Write activity reports in line with Company procedures accurately and timely.
* Assist the management team in producing quotations by providing accurate information for extra works.
* Attend team meetings/briefings.
* Provide accurate time sheet information weekly and on time.
* Ensure that the Company is presented in a good light at all times.
* Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team.
* Escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager as soon as noticed.
* Manage Integral sub-contractors while working on site.
* Understand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation.
* Handle, store, and use materials and equipment with due regard to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
* Actively participate in health and safety processes required under Company policies, including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments, and auditing.
* Follow any other reasonable instructions from the Contract Manager or his Line Managers.
* Cooperate with the company to fulfill its moral and legal duties and obligations.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Commercial environment.
* Electrical Engineering apprenticeship / NVQ or C&G (Essential)
* 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th Edition) (Essential)
* Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation extraction, plumbing, and general fabric.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
* Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
* Good IT and report writing skills.
* Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and clear thinking to deliver required services to the client within given time constraints.
