Are you passionate about supporting the learning and development of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Our thriving primary school in the L20 area is looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our SEND Base and make a difference in the lives of our pupils.
What we are looking for:
* A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification (essential).
* Previous experience working within a SEND Base or with pupils with SEND.
* A nurturing and patient approach to building positive relationships with children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, pupils, and parents.
* A proactive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing tailored support to pupils with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
* Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering targeted interventions.
* Promoting an inclusive and supportive environment for all pupils.
* Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records in collaboration with the SEND team.
