Description We are seeking an exceptional head with a passion for technology consulting and a deep knowledge of the insurance industry to head our Technology Consulting function across the UK & Ireland. This pivotal role requires creativity, problem-solving skills, and a focus on adding business value through strategic client engagement and the delivery of complex technology projects. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Run the Technology Consulting Team across the UK&I region. Monitor and manage performance metrics such as delivery profitability and client satisfaction. Align resources and efforts to overall ICT requirements. Nurture and develop talent to support ICT's strategic business plans. Sales Enablement: Lead the technology aspects of complex sales opportunities of both software and professional services. Define and propose the right solutions for clients, demonstrating your creativity and problem-solving abilities. Engage strategically with clients, building personal credibility and trust. Client Engagement: Direct senior client relationships with a strong customer focus, managing retention and broadening our software and services footprint. Oversee the delivery of complex engagements, ensuring quality and professional excellence, and consistently adding business value. Understand and manage solution and delivery risk. Thought Leadership & External Representation: Represent Technology Consulting in the UK&I Life and P&C insurance market. Participate in marketing and thought leadership activities, showcasing both your experience and knowledge and the overall credibility of the organization. Strategic Development & Integration: Provide thought leadership on shaping and building the consulting function. Develop innovative technology consulting propositions. Integrate technology consulting with the broader ICT business. Act as a point of escalation for issues internally and with clients. Qualifications Requirements: Extensive experience in global technology consulting or a professional services organisation. Proven ability to lead diverse technology consulting teams. Experience managing complex delivery projects and senior client relationships. Excellent stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to transition between strategic and detailed operational levels. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications: Significant experience in Commercial Lines P&C Insurance. Experience at an Insurance carrier. Prior responsibility for P&L in the consulting space.
