Compliance and Administrative Coordinator – (Hiram Education and Research Team)

The Ruskin Mill Centre for Practice delivers cross-Trust staff training and development in our method Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (PSTE), developing academic and action research into higher education and training in the method.
Established in 1984, Ruskin Mill Trust is an educational charity that operates in England, Scotland and Wales. We offer exciting outdoor learning environments, utilising practical land and craft activities to support the development of work and life skills in young people with autistic spectrum conditions and other learning differences. Our research-led method, Practical Skills Therapeutic Education, is inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner, John Ruskin and William Morris. Working with hand, head, heart and place, Ruskin Mill Trust helps individuals to re-imagine their potential.
Working as part of the Hiram Education and Research Team (HEaRT), you will lead the administrative and quality assurance processes, managing the administrative support for training course development and delivery plans for the Hiram Education and Research Team and Directorate.
Main Duties Include:
* Accurate and prompt recording of all Cross Trust training attendance and certification data in line with processes and procedures and supporting the review of Cross Trust training needs.
* Managing the quality assurance of data produced for compliance; outlining thematic findings that impact on data reporting, making recommendations for system improvements and creating and reporting on action plans where required.
* Identifying any legislative and/or regulatory changes linked to training and development, making recommendations to ensure compliance.
* Managing the central approval processes for training requests.
* Working with the Accreditation Manager to support any development in establishing an awarding body and to work with accrediting bodies for staff learning.
* Collaborating with the Publishing Team to manage resources such as Handbooks, Learner Handbooks and research material.
* Managing the production of attendance reports to prove training and compliance for inspections such as Ofsted, CQC and Local Authority Compliance visits.
You must have:
* Significant experience of working in administration, managing large volumes of data entry and analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and managing a diverse workload while working to strict deadlines.
* Experience in administrating Further Education and/or Higher Education would be advantageous.
In addition, you must have excellent skills in IT, prioritisation, communication, and the ability to demonstrate high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
