Are you an experienced Facilities Lead who is available for an immediate start? If so, our client is looking to hire x2 Facilities Lead’s on a temporary basis to support with the day to day running of the facilities department and the facilities operatives across two sites - Redhill & South Croydon. Salary: £18.00 - £21.00 per hour Location:Redhill/South Croydon, with the ability to travel to each site when required Hours: 37 hours/week - shift times across Monday-Fridays(07:00 -15:00, 11:00-19:00 & 13:00-21:00 with the very occasional Saturday Start: Immediate Responsibilities will include: Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring high standards in all building maintenance tasks. Oversee repairs and maintenance, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion. Conduct risk assessments and enforce health and safety protocols. Act as the main contact for emergency maintenance issues and manage out-of-hours callouts. Use SharePoint to track, prioritise, and manage Facilities requests. Report and address defects, vandalism, and maintenance concerns with the Facilities Manager. Supervise on-site contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Maintain and oversee key systems, including heating, ventilation, BMS, fire panels, and security alarms. Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all internal and external areas. Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues and conduct routine inspections. Ensure adherence to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and equipment upkeep. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations, overseeing RAMS and safety audits. Do you have the required skills & experience? Experience of working within a busy and demanding environment. · Qualified driver with clean driving license certified to drive Group D1 Vehicles. Previous experience in a multi skilled tradesman or similar facilities role. First Aid at Work Certificate (or willing to obtain). NEBOSH qualification or currently working towards certificate - Desirable · Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience of using online systems and databases.
