This newly established role is ideal for an experienced educator with a passion for supporting young people in crucial aspects of pastoral care. Key Information: • Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (a permanent contract will be offered following a successful probationary period) • Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week • Schedule: Term-time only, plus 5 INSET days • Start Date: February 2025 About the Role: The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the school’s pastoral support, addressing pupils' mental and physical wellbeing to help eliminate barriers to learning. Main Responsibilities: • Offer guidance and support to pupils, fostering their social, emotional, and personal development. • Deliver targeted interventions (both one-to-one and group sessions) to enhance pupils' wellbeing. • Establish strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and staff members. • Assist the attendance team in improving pupil attendance. • Provide first aid and medical support as required.
