We have a great opportunity for a part time Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Christchurch Connect Hub is a purpose-built day service, providing leisure and learning opportunities, through individual and groups meaningful activities. The activities promote choice, independence aim to enable individuals to develop their skills and engage in meaningful activities such as Dance, Drama, Gardening, Sport, Photography, Crafts and Community Groups.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Dealing with enquiries from clients, families, other professionals directing them to the appropriate person.
* Undertaking word processing duties, including letters, memoranda, reports, forms and templates.
* Creating, maintaining and interrogating confidential computerised information records including specialised IT data bases to ensure accurate and current data is maintained.
* Providing other office services as required, including the creation and maintenance of files and filing systems, collation of manual data, maintenance of stationery supplies, incoming and outgoing post, preparation of minutes, processing and checking of accounts and invoices.
The successful candidate should have:
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Competent IT skills with experience using Microsoft systems including Word, Excel and Outlook.
* GCSE grade C qualifications or equivalent.
Part-time – 22 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
