Youth Mentor - Haringey - January 2025 - Secondary school - £90 - £120 a day
We are seeking a Youth Mentor who has experience working with young people who exhibit challenging behavior and is eager to make a positive impact in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with children or young people with challenging behavior in various settings.
* Support children one-on-one or in small groups.
* Assist students academically and with their behavior.
* Record progress and identify ways to support students as part of the program.
* Collaborate with behavioral staff, the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and class teachers.
* Run or support interventions to provide extra academic support or address behavioral and emotional needs.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience working with vulnerable young people.
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Ability to commute to Haringey.
* Proactive and capable of handling challenging behavior situations.
