Job Details:
Older People’s Services has 8 residential services across Fife. The successful candidate will work on a relief / casual basis within the care home which includes early shifts, late shifts, and a period of night duty. Unsocial hours will be paid at the basic rate plus 1/3 hourly rate.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a genuine interest in the care and support of older people within the care homes. This will involve providing positive support for people to make their own choices and decisions in all aspects of their daily lives, as well as providing flexible support to enable the service users to access activities and achieve their personal outcomes.
The Person:
* Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
* Provide care and support which meets the Health and Social Care standards.
* Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies.
* You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic team.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
