Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located around the London area.
Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.
On a typical day you will:
1. Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service visits of the units within your area.
2. Work within your defined area, managing the portfolio of lifts within it.
3. Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first-time fix.
4. Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
5. Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.

What you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations)
1. Hold a completed and approved NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, and/or repair.
2. Hold a driver's license.
3. You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
4. You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
5. You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
6. You are comfortable communicating with others.
7. You are curious, adaptable, and know how to work alone or in a team.
8. You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
