We are seeking a professional and motivated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional user-facing technical support within a service desk environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, including our one-to-one Microsoft Surface Scheme, which supports personalised learning for every pupil.
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for:
1. Providing a professional first-line technical advisory and diagnostic support service to the school community.
2. Assisting in the setup and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
3. Supporting the operation and upkeep of the school’s audio-visual facilities.
4. Updating asset records and documentation as necessary.
5. Producing user documentation and reports.
6. Supporting ad hoc projects.
7. Assisting colleagues across the IT team as needed.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills are critical, as is the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
