About the Role
Role Overview:
This role is a key component to the Learning & Development (L&D) team’s goal ‘to be the best employer and developer of pet care talent’, working as part of the wider People Services team to ensure all colleagues have the best experience at Pets.
The role will be responsible for the coordination and administration of a wide range of activities across the learning and development ecosystem: Pet Care Retail Stores, Grooming Salons, Veterinary Surgeries, Support Office and our Distribution Centre, ensuring we are working together as one.
Working with the broader L&D team, the role is responsible for managing the administrative process involved in the organising of courses, event communications, booking venues, travel, accommodation, and refreshments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Management of the booking process, responding to booking and event queries, and updating booking trackers/records appropriately.
2. Organisation of booking course venues, refreshments, and logistics.
3. Raising invoice purchase orders and processing invoices in the internal system.
4. Creation of feedback surveys, collating and distributing responses to help improve future events.
5. Acting as an internal champion for SF, ensuring the system is well maintained with accurate course information and training records at all times.
6. Uploading learning materials to the system and updating/removing content when needed.
7. Assisting the wider L&D team in making system recommendations and pulling reports from the system.
8. Engaging effectively with stakeholders, understanding priorities and promoting the internal learning programmes, raising awareness, engagement, and participation.
9. Assisting the L&D Leads & trainers to track their KPIs by pulling training reports from the relevant systems.
10. Creating reports with detailed colleague learning information and high-level statistics where needed.
Experience:
1. Relevant experience of working in a coordinator role.
2. L&D administrative experience.
3. Relevant systems knowledge and experience.
4. Focused on continuous improvement, measuring outcomes based on data, trends, analysis, and review.
5. Organised, a self-starter, and innovative.
6. Excellent attention to detail, IT literate with strong administrative skills.
7. Ability to provide accurate reports and records, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your own workload, allowing you to work effectively under pressure and within a fast-paced environment.
