Job Title: Educational Psychologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Overton School in Shropshire. The successful candidate will work with schools to support the development of therapeutic environments and implement Trauma Informed and Neurodiversity Affirming practice.
About the Role
You will provide psychological assessment for pupils within the schools, guidance for education teams, and professional development training for all staff. You'll also communicate with families/carers and specialist agencies. You'll work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, and Assistant Psychologists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide psychological assessment and intervention for pupils within the schools
* Offer guidance for education teams
* Supervise agreed members of the clinical team
* Communicate with families/carers and specialist agencies
* Engage in professional development training for all staff
Essential Criteria:
* A doctoral or master's professional qualification in Educational Psychology
* Registered with the HCPC
* Creative and passionate about improving outcomes for pupils
* Able to work as part of a team and be self-reliant

The salary for this role is up to £63,840 (FTE, DOE).
