Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for a Welders (for both Day and Night shifts) Job Overview: Duties will include the maintenance and repair to our extensive fleet of trailers, trucks and skips to minimise operational downtime. This is a very busy Workshop that carries out a variety of tasks including Vehicle Refurbishment, Accident Repairs and Rigid Bodywork. Some mobile based welding may be required. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance work through various methods of welding such as MIG, TIG & ARC and to ensure work is of a high quality at all times. Produce and interpret technical drawings. Undertake fabrication duties to produce various required items such as catwalks, steps, skips and buckets. Adhere to Company and legislative H&S procedures at all times. Production of RAMS for all works undertaken. Refurbishment of wear material on shredders. Qualifications/ Experience: Flexible and adaptable to ensure tasks are completed to meet the demands of the business. Excellent attention to detail Time Management skills Highly organised with the ability to work in a pressurised environment The confidence and competence to deliver against targets Ability to prioritise work amidst challenging demands on time Good knowledge of basic health and safety procedures Basic knowledge and experience of basic welding techniques.
