This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and sensory impairments. About the Role: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to children with a range of SEN, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum. Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes confidence and independence. Support students during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times, helping them develop both academically and socially. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide consistent and tailored support. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a primary school setting. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. A commitment to promoting inclusion and celebrating each child's unique potential. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
