Job Title: Senior Admin Support Specialist (3.8 – Admin Lead)

Duties:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Senior Admin Support Specialist provides professional administrative support to multiple enterprise IT portfolio offices. Responsibilities include:
1. Establishing, implementing, managing, and maintaining action tracker tools to support requirements for the assigned Government organization.
2. Providing travel support in accordance with the Defense Travel System (DTS) governance.
3. Managing office supplies and equipment for the assigned Government organization.
4. Managing the Morning Report for assigned Portfolio and submitting via Marine On-Line (MOL) per Command and program office policies.
5. Maintaining personnel rosters, organizational charts, and updating monthly inventory of office supplies.
Additionally, the Senior Admin Support Specialist serves as a Task Lead with the following responsibilities:
1. Being the primary point of contact for the supported customer Task Lead and related customer stakeholders, ensuring customer service-oriented communication.
2. Leading a contractor support team of 5 administrative assistants and 2-3 specialists.
3. Providing vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of task-level performance, including subcontractors.
4. Empowering the team to achieve exceptional customer outcomes and setting standards for professional excellence.
Compensation: Minimum: $120,000; Maximum: $135,000
Qualifications:
Experience:
* Ten years of DoD professional administrative support, preferably one or more years at Marine Corps Systems Command.
* Experience in the direct supervision of administrative and technical professionals.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Strong critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Education or Certification:
* High School Diploma.
Security:
* Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Mobility for bending, reaching, and kneeling is necessary. Walking moderate to long distances may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
