We are looking for an experienced automotive technician to join Horsham Development’s continuing expansion.
The Role
Horsham Developments is a performance car garage so, in addition to all the normal garage work, we upgrade and enhance the performance of sports cars, as well as race our own cars.
· Standard activities: Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles, to the highest standard.
· Enhanced activities (training will be provided): Deliver customised wheel alignments, suspension setup, exhaust fabrication, performance parts fitting and setup, fitting after market engine management systems, engine tuning, engine rebuilds, gearbox rebuilds and run the dyno.
· Attend track days and race days to promote the business.
· Carry out all work completely and effectively in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines.
· Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed and components utilised in line with our standards.
· Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards.
· Work independently and as part of the team when required.
· Be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
You should have a high level of training and/or relevant experience to provide our customers with the very best standards of service. We want a committed, enthusiastic, team-orientated person with a good sense of humour and desire to be the absolute best at what you do.
We are looking for a team member that not only has a passion for performance cars, but takes extraordinary care and pride in their workmanship.
Required:
· Minimum 3 years' experience as an automotive/ vehicle technician/ mechanic
· Fluent English
· Full UK driving license
· Strong attention to detail
· Self-motivated
Preferred:
· Relevant qualifications
· BMW M series experience
· Training in metal work, fabrication and welding
· Interest in modified cars and performance enhancements
