QC Civils Coordinator - NZT

We are currently seeking a QC Civils Coordinator, reporting directly to the Site Quality Manager to join our Quality team based in Teesside, NE England.

About the mission we offer you:
Technip Energies and their partners were awarded an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the world’s first commercial scale gas-fired power station with carbon capture. The construction site is located in the Tees Valley in the North-East of England.
We are currently seeking a QC Civils Coordinator to join the team in the North-East of England.
The successful candidate will be site-based once the site office is established but until then will work on a hybrid basis, attending the Milton Keynes and London offices as required.
HSE:
1. Take Safety as a first priority and Follow Golden Rules.
2. Attend required SHES / QA Trainings and participate actively in SHES initiative such as Safety Observation Cards / SHES walkdowns, etc.
3. Ensure the Civil inspection Team has performed all necessary SHES training prior to site work starting.
Feedback & Lesson Learn:
1. Ensure Civil FB & LL are cascaded to all Inspectors within project and their Subcontractors.
2. Coordinate and promote the Feedback & Lesson Learned collect from the site.
3. Promote a Quality culture on the project, ensuring implementation of Civil best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems
4. Lead the civil Inspection team.
5. Review and provide inputs (E.g. Comments, Checklists, etc.) for all Civil QC related Procedures.
6. Ensure the effective implementation of Project ITPs related to Civil Discipline.
7. Perform daily Inspection tasks in line with Site Quality Requirements and Quality Control Plans.
8. Ensure that all the Quality Control Form (QCF) are signed in the completion database
9. Lead or participate in investigations to resolve Civil quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and ensure that they are effectively executed.
10. Issue and expedite identified NCRs related to Civil activities.
11. Report progress and feedback activity to Site QC manager.
12. Interface with CPY and Subcontractors and Construction / PCC teams for all activities relevant to Civil inspection.
13. Perform Surveillance of Civil Works.
14. Participate in weekly mass TBT and Quality walkdowns.
OTHERS:
1. Attend Project Meetings whenever required / instructed by SQM.
2. Assist the Quality Department in the development and approval of the Civil Quality project procedures.
3. Lead and/or participate in internal and external audits according to the Project Schedule related to Civil Activities

Previous experiences:
* Experience as Civil Inspector/Coordinator on large scale engineering projects.
Proved competences/roles in:
* Civil inspector on major Energy / Power Plant / Oil & Gas projects.
* Concrete Activities Management on Energy / Power Plant / Oil & Gas sector projects.
* Knowledge of dealing with International Codes such as:
ASTM/BS/ISO standards
EN standards
Qualifications:
Diploma, bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering
