Position: Newly Qualified Optometrist Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire Salary: From £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience £10,000 joining bonus (T&Cs apply) Working hours: Full time or part time with weekend flexibility and no late nights Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC We have a new and exciting opportunity for a driven Optometrist to join our well-established and highly successful store in Eastleigh. You will join an energetic team, some who have been working in the store for over 15 years and who work together to ensure our patients receive an excellent experience. Specsavers Eastleigh will be celebrating their 33rd birthday this year and we are looking for an Optometrist who will continue to grow and drive the business forward. Following a refurbishment in October 2023, you will be joining a fresh and modern store with 7 test rooms all fully quipped with the latest clinical equipment and technology including OCT and Nidek Screens and Phoropters. This store delivers local CUEs, cataract and glaucoma services as well as hear care services. We are seeking an Optometrist who is a team player and someone who can adapt well in a busy store. Equally, they provide every customer with clear advice and the peace of mind that comes with being in expert hands. To be part of our team, you’ll need to provide the same unique blend of customer care and professional excellence – which will make a big impact on the store’s overall success. As a professional, you’ll be an expert at putting people at ease and welcoming customers with a naturally personable approach. You will talk customers through the eye examination process and talk through their options with them.
