Come and join us We are currently seeking a passionate and guest focussed Leisure Attendant to join our friendly Leisure team. This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis. JOB SUMMARY To provide a level of customer service that exceeds guest expectations. Ensure that you work alongside your colleagues as an effective team member maintaining a flexible and professional attitude at all times. To maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Leisure department ensuring that an exceptional operational standard is delivered across all areas. Reports To: Director of Golf & Leisure Essential Tasks: Meet, greet and check in members and guests to the Leisure Club with a warm, friendly and professional attitude. To carry out cleaning duties professionally and efficiently to a high standard. Shared pool lifeguard responsibilities. When on pool duty, carry out regular pool water treatment tests to ensure the safety and comfort of all pool users. To upsell stock and services on offer at the club. To assist the membership sales team by handling enquiries and displaying a sound knowledge of our various offerings, demonstrating a customer focussed attitude at all times. Understand and uphold the hotel's policy on cash handling and fraud. Ensure that all procedures aligned with health & safety and security are fully adhered to. Maintain a hands on approach in supporting the relevant teams. Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management. Back of House Tasks: Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes. Develop a good working knowledge of all relevant systems and procedures. Supervision, Training and Development: Full training and career development will be available Personality: Friendly, professional and welcoming. Excellent verbal / telephone / written communication skills. Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks. Highly organised and motivated. Ambitious Experience & Qualifications: A strong command of spoken and written English is required. Should be both numerate and literate Must be able to legally work in the United Kingdom. A knowledge of golf or sport orientated background is preferred but not essential Computer literate and a working knowledge of a Leisure POS is preferred but not essential. Whilst these are required for the role, training is available if the candidate does not currently have these qualifications.
