Senior Technical Sales Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £45k (DOE) + company car
Hours: Mon-Fri
Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful, growing manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Sales Manager. Our client is looking for somebody with a high level of experience within Sales and Manufacturing.
Roles & responsibilities:
Maintaining and increasing company sales.
Responsible for sales forecasts and reports to head of sales, monthly, quarterly, and yearly
Establishing, maintaining, and expanding the customer base specifically key accounts.
Determining and setting sales targets for the sales team, this will include individuals and distributors.
Allocating territories to sales staff and distributors.
Developing sales strategies.
Create tenders and quotes for new business.
Review and identify the current market and former opportunities through effective use of the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and social media, maintaining existing clients and winning new business.
Attending networking, exhibitions, and business social events to secure and grow new and existing clients.
Liaise with the design team to ensure projects are within time scales.
Plan with your manager how targets will be achieved and exceeded.
Review your territory regularly and discuss territory performance with your manager on a quarterly basis.
You will need:
BA bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent with experience in Workholding or tooling as a related field
Must be able to evidence their experience in Engineering Design and Workholding.
Minimum of 15 years' experience working in Engineering.
Ability to read and create technical drawings.
Experience managing a sales team.
Willingness to travel across the UK and overseas.
