The department We have one of the best regarded and largest dedicated property teams within the country, numbering over 200 specialists across seven offices. Our property lawyers are particularly experienced in dealing with SIPP and SSAS (self-invested personal pension/small-administered schemes) transactions, development and investment, planning, secured lending and landlord and tenant matters. We are increasingly advising high value, high profile transactions and clients. Our lawyers come from a range of backgrounds, including major City practices, other major national and regional firms, industry and local government and include individuals with construction, planning and commercial expertise. The depth and range of expertise means the team can work together in major and complex transactions and provide a sector based offering for our clients. It also means there is support and opportunity across the Real Estate spectrum. Our nationally recognised Real Estate team includes our specialist and dedicated SIPP/SSAS Real Estate Team which deals with all elements of commercial property transactions involving SIPPs and SSASs to include acquisitions, disposals, leases, asset management work and mortgages. We are the largest bespoke SIPP/SSAS Real Estate team in the country and we act for many of the countries leading SIPP and SSAS providers dealing with around 1,200 transactions per annum. The candidate The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the law yet be able to think commercially and analytically so as to provide accurate and practical advice to company clients and high net worth individuals which is tailored to their needs. Qualifications/Experience 0-4 PQE gained within a strong local, regional, national or City firm with experience in some or all of the following: Commercial landlord and tenant work Investment and asset management Acquisition and disposals of commercial property Experience of acting for banks and/or borrowers in secured lending matters Experience in SIPP/SSAS transactions desirable but not essential The information provided in relation to PQE is provided for guidance only and will not be determinative in the recruitment decision.
