We are looking for a highly performing Care Group Clinical Director to provide strategic leadership to Care Group 3, which provides women's and children's services, fertility, sexual health, and clinical genetics services. Most services in the care group provide highly specialised tertiary and quaternary level care at a regional and supra-regional level while also providing care for the local population for their health needs.
Main Duties of the Job
A clinical leader with a passion for improving patient care, you will work with your Care Group Leadership Team, Trust's Senior Management Team, and other Care Group teams to ensure optimal quality, performance, and service delivery for our patients. You will have the opportunity to shape the development of services in your Care Group and the wider Nottinghamshire health and social care system.

Training & Qualifications
* Clinical professional with current registration
* Evidence of continuous professional development including evidence of leadership development activities
* Formal clinical leadership or management qualification (e.g., NHS Leadership Academy, FMLM or Kings Fund clinical leadership accreditation or equivalent)
* Experience of working across organisational boundaries
Experience
* Experience at Senior Clinical level for example Consultant, Chief/Director of Profession or equivalent leadership experience
* A comprehensive understanding of the NHS agenda
* Previous experience in leading a service or project/large multidisciplinary team
* Experience of working across organisational boundaries
Communication and Relationship Skills
* Well-developed leadership skills, inspiring others to collaborate, with clear abilities to form effective working relationships
