Job title: Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £37,263
What you'll be doing:
* Driving the compilation and development of Business Management System policies and procedures that are associated with Manufacturing Engineering compliance
* Working alongside Manufacturing Engineering to develop manufacturing safety documentation in accordance with Engineering and Business requirements to ensure compliance with statutory legislation
* Managing the documentation review periods within the Manufacturing Engineering department in line with the BMS policy guidelines
* Deciding how best to organise and present the document and commissioning any photographs or illustrations required. Writing the material clearly and concisely, making sure it can be easily understood, editing, proofreading, indexing and testing the written material with users
* Communicating document revisions to the relevant department leaders and maintaining area Training matrices/records
* Aid manufacturing Engineers with Continuous Improvement projects as required across site
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
* Qualified by experience or qualification in relevant subject
Desirable:
* Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
* Experience using SAP & Teamcenter software

The Manufacturing Engineering team:
As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, you will be reviewing, updating and writing documentation within the Manufacturing Engineering Department, ensuring operational procedures and policies meet governance and compliance standards. You will also support in the management of the technical document library.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with an established team, gain knowledge in one of the UK's most complex manufacturing sites and work in a niche role which is highly sort of.
